Video sharing and social media app TikTok has banned Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns is WWE's top star and the central figure of the critically-acclaimed Bloodline story that has been featured heavily on WWE programming for the past few years.Reigns has had a great deal of success in WWE, and is currently in the midst of the longest world title reign the company has seen in decades. It's safe to say that Reigns has become an all-time great in WWE, and is easily one of the promotion's most popular superstars of all time. As one might imagine, Reigns' success in WWE has translated to massive social media followings, with 4.9 million followers on Twitter and 1.3 million on TikTok at the time of his ban.RELATED: Jake Novak Makes Shock Return to TikTok After 1 YearNo official reason has been given as to why TikTok has banned Roman Reigns, but a few distinct possibilities come to mind. Given the very nature of WWE, it could be that Reigns shared a video of something he's done in the ring that TikTok deemed too violent. Or maybe the ban came about due to threatening words Reigns may have said in a promo. The ban could have come about due to some other kind of community guideline violation unrelated to wrestling, though that seems unlikely. Another possibility is that Reigns' account was banned by mistake. Unfortunately, WWE fans won't know for sure why Roman Reigns was banned from TikTok unless Reigns or TikTok decide to provide more information on the matter.

Given Reigns' status, it's entirely possible that TikTok will reverse the ban. After all, Reigns is the top star in WWE and as evidenced by his 1.3 million followers and 7.6 million likes, he's been quite a hit on TikTok as well. Other WWE wrestlers have active TikTok accounts that regularly show in-ring action, so if that was the reason why Reigns was banned, surely the decision could be reversed.

If Roman Reigns is still banned from TikTok by the time Friday Night SmackDown airs on July 7, it's possible he will address the situation live on air. Reigns is scheduled to appear on the show as part of a "Tribal Court" segment. The segment will see Roman Reigns go on "trial" in the wake of being pinned by former Bloodline member Jey Uso at the recent Money in the Bank event, which marked the first time that the Head of the Table had been pinned since 2019.
