Currently in Roguebook, players can play four different heroes. The first two, Sharra and Sorocco, are unlocked when the game begins. The third is named Seifer, and he is unlocked by defeating the first chapter's boss the first time. But the fourth isn't so straightforward to get in this roguelite deckbuilder similar to Act 1 of Inscryption.

Aurora in Roguebook

Roguebook is a deck-building rogue-lite made by Magic: the Gathering's Richard Garfield. And Aurora is one of the most unique playable characters in the game. Unlike the others, her cards seem to focus more on support than damage like the others, and she has significantly less health as well. If players want to unlock this fourth playable character, it won't be as easy as it was to unlock Seifer.

Aurora's relic is Aurora's Teapot, an item that allows players to fully heal her once per battle. Her cards focus a lot on both Allies and the other hero in her party gaining power, health, and Spirit, summoning Frogs to help during battle, and even weakening enemies. Her powers can make for an interesting teammate for any of the other heroes, but first players will need to unlock this Roguebook character.

Players can unlock Aurora during Roguebook's New Run Plus or at least after defeating the game once. It may be possible to get her before then, but as of this writing, she seemingly only appears then. She will always appear in Act 3, on a visible tile without a tooltip. Players just need to make their way to her and interact. She will bemoan the loss of her Teacup, and players will have to open up the map and fetch it for her. As soon as players return the relic, Aurora will then be available as a hero in future playthroughs of the game.
