To get the Echo’s Boots, complete the Echo of the Resonance challenge. The Heirloom statue for this ability is on top of the tower in Axis Mundi, and it rewards the players with boots upon beating its Trial.

Here are the steps players need to take:

  • Ask Charon to sail to the Castle. Jump on the little boat on the right flank of the base and pay Charon (the boatman) to travel to the Castel.
  • Locate Axis Mundi. In the Castle, take the doors and exits on the right to get into Axis Mundi, the 2-star area.
  • Enter the first door on the Axis Mundi’s entrance. There’s a tiny door in the top right corner of Axis Mundi. Get close and press RB (R1 on PlayStation) to go in.
  • Climb on top of the tower. Spin-kick the blue lanterns and go all the way up to the top.
  • Jump down from the tower’s left flank. The Heirloom statue is unreachable from the inside. To access it, jump down the tower and dash to the right before hitting the ground.
  • Accept the Echo of Resonance challenge. Talk to the statue and select “Yes” when it offers a challenge.
  • Beat the Trial to earn the Echo’s Boots. Complete the spin-kicking and dashing missions to return to the Heirloom statue and receive the brand-new booster boots.

What Do the Echo's Boots Do?

The Echo’s Boots enable spin kicks to reset Dashes and destroy Resonant Projectiles. With this ability, the player can utilize projectiles to jump higher and kick the Resonant objects to travel further—or regain Dash mana. It’s also crucial for unlocking other Heirlooms, such as the Aether’s Wings.

Rogue Legacy 2 is available now for Switch, Xbox, and PC.
