Ahead of Rocket League's upcoming Season 15, information regarding the new update has been revealed, providing fans with some exciting new features and changes they won't want to miss. This summer, Rocket League is inviting players to enter the "Fun, Fret and Fray" of Salty Fest, the game's newest seasonal update. Season 15 releases June 5 and lasts until September 4, and brings with it a plethora of new and exciting tweaks to gameplay, including a new variant of the iconic Salty Shores map. Limited time modes (LTM) are a popular feature in Rocket League and are a focal point in Season 15, with Eggstra Special Mode, G-Force Frenzy, and Gridiron all being made available in private, offline, and custom matches. Season 15 also adds tons of other LTMs to the selection pool, like Beach and Boomer Ball, Demolition, Speed Demon, Spike Rush, and Super Cube.

Rocket League Reveals Exciting Season 15 Details

Psyonix is also upgrading Rocket League's chat feature in Season 15, adding a timestamp to the chat box. According to Psyonix, this feature is being added as a way to improve game-specific messages and increase tactical communication between players and teams. Changes to Rocket League's audio have also been made, like tweaks to demolition audio, making it easier to detect who has been destroyed during a match.

As was the case with previous Rocket League season updates, ⁠a Premium Rocket Pass is offered in Season 15. Purchasing the pass automatically unlocks the new Nissan Fairlady Z Car Body. This body uses the Dominus hitbox and will soon be available for cross-game ownership for Rocket League and Fortnite players. Several new Tournament Rewards will also be added in Season 15, including the 1D20 Topper and the Polyhedral Boost, as well as a new goal explosion called Spellbound.
