Rocket League announced a new crossover that will add one of Bugatti's cars to the game. Released in 2015, Rocket League brought an unusual gameplay proposal: playing soccer with a giant ball by driving cars. Since then the game developed by Psyonix has become a hit among indie titles and continues to be active and bring different content for players.

Currently, Rocket League is in Season 9, the 20th season overall and the ninth season after the game became free-to-play. Rocket League announced Season 9 in early December, confirming the Fire and Ice theme. Among the key content added are the Forbidden Temple (Fire & Ice) variant arena, and the Emperor car body, available in the new battle pass. With today's announcement, Rocket League players will soon receive another crossover with an iconic car brand.

Starting December 19, the Bugatti Centodieci Bundle will be available in the Item Shop. The bundle will cost 1100 Credits and will feature the Bugatti Centodieci car, Bugatti Centodieci Engine Audio, Bugatti Centodieci Wheels, Noire Decal, and Bugatti Centodieci Player Banner. Like the crossover between Rocket League and Ferrari, the Bugatti Centodieci will be available for a limited time. The Ferrari 296 GT was available between late August and early September, while the Bugatti Centodieci bundle can be purchased until January 3, 2023.

Bugatti Centodieci is a reinterpretation of the Bugatti EB110. Presented in 1991, the Bugatti EB110 was considered the fastest and most extraordinary supercar of its time. With a power output of 1177 kW/1600 horsepower, the Bugatti Centodieci has an ultra-limited production run: only 10 vehicles were manufactured, making this one of the most expensive and exclusive cars of Bugatti's modern era. One of the illustrious owners of one of the Bugatti Centodieci units is ex-Manchester United soccer star, Cristiano Ronaldo. Luxury collaborations are no stranger to the Psyonix game: previously the Rocket League x 007 collaboration added the Aston Martin DBS, a car that appeared in No Time to Die, the most recent film in the James Bond franchise.

Crossovers in online multiplayer games are an effective way to keep recurring players engaged, and attract the attention of potential new players. Rocket League not only has experience with luxurious collaborations but crossovers in general. On other occasions, players have seen crossovers with movies like Fast and Furious and Ghostbusters. In other more unusual collaborations, Rocket League got Chucky and Texas Chainsaw Massacre content through the Halloween event. The release of several crossovers shows that Rocket League remains relevant, and shows that Psyonix continues to work on bringing new things to the game.

Rocket League is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
