Resident Evil 8 is filled with obtainable treasures that Ethan can sell to Duke for a hefty price. These treasures are important to get if players want to upgrade their weapons or even if they just want to buy that extra medicine.

Whatever the reason might be, players will still need to progress far enough in the story to obtain these treasures. They first appear on the map after players complete Castle Dimitrescu. Duke will then mark each one of these treasures on the player's map. The only problem is that this gives no information as to how to obtain them.

7 Beneviento Treasure

On the way to House Beneviento, players will come across an unmissable mound of graves with a large one in the center of them all. At first, they won't be able to do anything with it. Wait until House Beneviento is complete and head back to the village. After players return to the village, the mausoleum will be open.

Players can then head to the graveyard in town and grab the broken slab from inside the mausoleum. Return to the mound of graves with the slab and place it on the nameplate of the giant gravestone. This will allow players to receive Berengario's Chalice. This will also initiate a mini-boss fight with a giant hammer-wielding enemy.

6 Waterwheel Weapon

Remember the beginning of the game where Ethan must face off against a horde of Lycan? Well, after players can re-enter than area, they can receive a powerful new weapon. This treasure comes in the form of the GM79 Grenade Launcher. A handy tool.

Players simply need to wait until they are able to head back down to the section of town and head over to the waterwheel. Right next to it will be a building with the Iron Insignia Key symbol on the door. Unlock the door with the key and the treasure can be received.

5 Maestro's Collection

After completing the section of the game that takes players to House Beneviento, they will return down the path they came in on. This time, however, the area will be a little more open and there are two buildings that players can enter. One of these buildings has a convenient typewriter inside. Next to that typewriter is Luthier's Key. This key will possibly have a familiar shape of a violin on it.

Observant players will have come across a house in the village with a red door with a violin on it. Luthier's Key will open that door. The treasure is locked away inside of a wardrobe with a combination lock. The combination is 27-09-17. The reward for players who go through this will be a valuable statue and the high-capacity magazine for the F2 Rifle.

Search them all and inside the farthest one will be a small chest. Open it to receive the Wolfsbane Magnum. This is a powerful weapon to use against the upcoming enemies. After grabbing the weapon, a Varcolac will spawn in.

3 Riverbank Treasure House

After defeating Moreau and returning to the loveable Duke, players can use the Crank and the Boat Key to retrieve another treasure item. Players should head down the path that they used when coming back from Castle Dimitrescu. On the right side of the path will be a set of steps that leads to a raised bridge. Use the Crank to lower the bridge and gain access to a boat. Take the boat upriver to where it can be docked. There is another bridge that can be lowered here, but head to the right first.

Players will come across a large door that leads down into the lower depths of the castle. Inside is a fire puzzle like the one inside the castle from earlier in the game. Use the hanging brazier to ignite the two others. This will cause enemies to start spawning. Hit one with the hanging brazier to ignite it and lead it over to the last brazier in the back room. This will ignite the final brazier and unlock the door for players to retrieve the Golden Lady Statue.

2 Cannibal's Plunder

The Cannibal's Plunder chest is able to be retrieved once players are ready to go take on Uriel in the Lycan Nest. After defeating Moreau, players will see signs pointing them in the direction of the last locked door that is protected by the Six-Winged Unborn Key. Unlock the door and follow the path until it splits off to the left. Follow the left path up to the old sawmill.

Head inside and get ready for a nasty fight. There is a large Lycan wielding a hammer inside. After defeating this large enemy, players will be able to open the large red door in the room. This will lead to a room filled with meat for cooking and in the back will be a treasure chest with Father Nichola's Angel inside.
