Throughout Resident Evil Village, players will be able to collect several treasures that can be found scattered throughout the game's many locations. While treasures are not mandatory to complete Resident Evil Village, players should take their time in collecting these trinkets, given that they are valuable resources that can be exchanged with The Duke.

Any Lei or Resident Evil Village's in-game currency that players will receive upon exchanging these treasures can then be used to purchase new weapons, weapon upgrades, and healing items that could make succeeding enemy encounters a little bit easier. One of the treasures that may be annoying to locate is Guglielmo's Plate, which is the treasure that players will find under the stronghold.

Where To Find The Treasure Under The Stronghold

Upon reaching the stronghold in The Forbidden Woods area of the village, players will notice a treasure marked on the map where they first fought several Lycans. However, no matter how hard players search in the area marked on the map, the treasure won't be there given that its actual location is underground, and players would have to push through more of the stronghold before they can actually obtain it.

Before heading further to the stronghold, it is recommended for players to ensure that they have enough ammo and health items, given that there will be a lot of Lycans to kill as they descend the stronghold. Upon reaching a big spiral staircase, players will encounter one of the big Lycan bosses that wield a giant hammer. Players will know that they're close to the treasure as soon as they defeat the giant wolf.

After the encounter with the wolf, players will find themselves passing through a cave filled with crystal fragments, and players should shoot every crystal they can find to sell to the Duke later on. Once players have everything they need, they must head through a room to find a flask belonging to Heisenberg that contains a message. Once that's done, players will be able to leave the area by descending some stairs where they will find a boat.

The treasure is located on the left side of the door where players entered to get into the boat area, and players should see it on a table. As previously mentioned, the treasure is Guglielmo's Plate, and players can sell it later to The Duke for some in-game currency. Overall, the treasure isn't that hard to find. It's just that the map could confuse players thinking that it is aboveground when in fact, its actual location is in the underground area of the stronghold. It is worth noting that Guglielmo's Plate is worth 25,000 Lei, so it's definitely one not to miss.

Resident Evil Village is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
