The home of the first lord in Resident Evil Village is the great castle that can be seen from the village. This is the home of Lady Dimitrescu and the home of the first boss in the game. The boss and her daughters aren't the only interesting sight to see in the castle.
Treasure lies in wait for those who wish to seek it out. This is easiest to complete once all the masks are in place and Lady Dimitrescu is the only enemy left standing, but players can start their search as soon as they reach the castle roof.
Finding The Ring First
Before players come across the map they will first come across the Silver Ring. The Silver Ring is easy to overlook as it is found in the area the players find the Mask of Pleasure.
Players need to continue through the castle until they reach Lady Dimitrescu's room. This is where they will receive her Key. Players must use this key to get to where the mask is located. Remember, to get to the Hall of Pleasure, run up the large staircase to the halls above. Take the path to the right and go through the door that the Maroon Eye was placed in. Head down the hall to where the door with Dimitrescu's symbol and use her key to open it.
Taking this path will lead to the Mask of Pleasure. There is a nearby drawer that can be opened that contains the Silver Ring.
Getting The Iron Insignia Key
The Iron Insignia Key is needed to access the treasure that is being sought after, but getting it is no easy task. Lady Dimitrescu lurks around the halls and is ready to cut Ethan to ribbons. To obtain the key, head over to the courtyard and take the door that is in the far right. Unlock the door with Dimitrescu's Key and go through the rooms to reach the piano.
The piano puzzle is very easy and doesn't require music knowledge. Hit the keys until all of the notes have been played and the piano will open up to reveal the Iron Insignia Key. Be careful, because Lady Dimistrescu is waiting for Ethan to hunt him down afterward.
Find The Treasure Map
After wandering around the castle for a while, Ethan will come across the rooftops. Players will first find themselves in the roof of the castle. Make quick work of the enemies before searching the room. After looking around the roof, Ethan will find a map that shows the way to the treasure; The Azure Eye.
Complete the rooftop by following the path and collecting the Mask of Rage at the end. Be careful not to get killed by the multitude of flying enemies that circle the rooftops. Afterward, take the elevator down into the castle.
Following The Map
Take a look at the map. On it, players will notice that it marks the kitchen and the dungeon. They will have already gone through these two areas before and might have even seen the door. Head back down to the dungeon following the path through the kitchen.
Players can then follow the dungeon path until they reach the door. Use the Iron Insignia Key to unlock it and view the puzzle that is waiting. The puzzle is easy to solve but requires a bit of gunfire so make sure to have the bullets for it.
Complete The Puzzle
Once inside the puzzle room, grab the pipe bomb to the right of the door. To the left of the coffin is a broken wall. Throw the pipe bomb at the wall to destroy it and reveal the lit brazier on the other side. Push the hanging brazier on the left over to the lit brazier to light it on fire. This can be done either by shooting it or by hitting it with the knife. It is easier to be done with bullets.
After the left hanging brazier is lit, it is time to light the right hanging brazier. Lighting the right one is a bit trickier. Both hanging braziers must be swung using either bullets or the knife. Once both hanging braziers are lit the iron bars blocking the coffin will lower.
Claim The Treasure
Now that the puzzle is done, players can grab the Azure Eye from within it. To combine it with the Silver Ring players simply need to go into their inventory and go over to the treasure section. Select either the Azure Eye or the Silver Ring and select combine to attach it to the other item. It is then able to be sold as a very valuable item. Much better than the normal price players will get when they are separated.
