For months, Capcom has been teasing Resident Evil 7 fans with glimpses of the game's final pieces of DLC, the End of Zoe and Not A Hero expansions. Both expansions are available to download now, and to commemorate the occasion, Capcom has released a launch trailer that details the story of Joe Baker in the End of Zoe DLC.

The new trailer confirms that Joe Baker is in fact part of the Baker family. Previously, all Resident Evil 7 fans knew was that the character's name was "Joe." Unfortunately, the trailer doesn't explain exactly how Joe fits into the Baker family, so those that want to learn more about who he is will have to try the new DLC.

Check out the new Resident Evil 7 DLC trailer below:

The trailer establishes the basic plot for the End of Zoe expansion. In the new DLC, Joe Baker is attempting to save Zoe from not only the Molded monsters that are still lurking about, but the special agents led by Chris Redfield as well. To deal with these threats, Joe will have some unique weaponry at his disposal, including a spear and his fists, which he uses to beat one of the monsters to death.

The new DLC also introduces some new enemies for players to deal with, like alligators that will try to snap at Joe in his quest to save Zoe. Ultimately, Joe will have to contend with these alligators and other beasts while he explores some brand new locations that weren't seen in the base game.

Overall, the End of Zoe expansion seems like it is adding substantial and significant story content for Resident Evil 7 fans to sink their teeth into. And once players are finished with the End of Zoe expansion, they also have the free Not A Hero DLC to play through, which means Resident Evil 7 fans should be plenty busy tonight.

Resident Evil 7 is available now for PC, PS4, PlayStation VR, and Xbox One.
