Alternatively, those players who own the Resident Evil 4 Remake standard edition can grab the Sentinel 9 handgun as an additional, separate DLC purchase for $1.99 in the Xbox store, allowing those who want to own all pistols to update Leon's case collection as they see fit. Players can also buy the full DLC bundle pack separately, including the exclusive Sentinel 9 and Skull Shaker weapons, alongside other extras like various costumes and the treasure map expansion. Like other weapons in the game, players can also equip the Sentinel 9 with the Resident Evil 4 Remake's laser sight for pinpoint accuracy.
Is The Sentinel 9 Worth It?
The main advantage of the Sentinel 9 compared to other handguns, like Leon's starting weapon the SG-09 R, is its higher ammo capacity of 19 shots, so for players who like their sidearms big on ammo, it can be a good option. When compared side-by-side to the SG-09 R level 1 base stats, the Sentinel 9 is also slightly more powerful, but its rate of fire is marginally weaker. However, both have 4.0 precision and are upgradable with options to improve stats like power and ammo capacity, so in other ways, whether the Sentinel 9 is worth it is more about player preference. Excluding additional perks from the merchant's upgrade ticket, the Sentinel 9's max level upgrade stats are:

The SG-09 R's max upgrade stats include slightly higher power and reload speed but lower ammo capacity:
