One of the major changes to the Resident Evil 4 remake is the addition of side quests. These favors from the Merchant can be started by picking up blue notes scattered around the environment. By completing them, players can receive Spinels from the Merchant, allowing players to purchase special items from their stock, such as Treasure Maps, Yellow Herbs, weapons, ammo, new attache cases, and more. One of the requests players will find early on is called 'Grave Robber.'

Resident Evil 4 remake's Grave Robber side quest requires players to find a pair of matching gravestones in the church's graveyard. Apparently, the Merchant thinks the dead twins don't belong in the graveyard because they joined the cult Leon is trying to rescue Ashley Graham from. It's up to Leon to get rid of them to get two Spinels as a reward.

How to Start Grave Robber Request

For any RE4 remake players wondering where the blue note request is for 'Grave Robber,' it's right outside the Church. If you're facing the front door of the church, turn right and go down the first path on the left-hand side.

Head through it all the way to the end to find a small chest with treasure inside, and the request note will be to the left of the chest. The map above shows its location.

Where are the Twin's Tombstone Emblems at the Church?

Now that the Request has started, players need to head north/northwest of the church to find the graveyard, which, of course, is full of tombstones. To find the twin tombstones, head to the part of the map circled in red on the map below.

Walk towards the front part of the yard and then go to the two tombstones that are in front of a large tree that's on a 45-degree angle. Players should be able to see the church in the background. Both of them will have a symbol that sort of looks like a 'U' but with two little spikes jutting out from the top.

Now that players have found the tombstones, they'll need to shoot both emblems with a gun. We didn't use a knife to break them, so try that out to save some handgun ammo (if it works). Resident Evil 4 players will now need to speak to the Merchant (location doesn't matter) to get the two Spinels.

The Resident Evil 4 remake is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
