The list of Resident Evil 4 achievements has just leaked online. With the remake's imminent release on March 24, 2023, fans have been making use of their time playing the recently released Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo. With the demo essentially taking place within a select section of the game, players will be able to get a feel of the gameplay improvements and changes within the new engine.

The achievements for the Resident Evil 4 remake have just been posted on Reddit. While the expected storyline and boss achievements are still present, some unique requirements also exist on the list, so those who like to be surprised should be aware that there may be some spoilers in the leaked list. A majority of the list deals with challenging parameters, such as finishing the game without using any recovery items or completing it without talking to the merchant. Some are as simple as upgrading a weapon. However, the leak seemingly does not reveal any hidden achievements, as comments on the post note how some boss fights are missing from the list.
Achievements usually add much-needed replayability to games of any kind. While the daunting list normally varies, those that reward the player for being creative usually give out the rarest rewards. An example of a unique one on the list would be the task of shooting through and destroying five targets at the shooting range with one shot. Another one asks the user to kill two parasites inside the iconic Resident Evil 4 Regenerator villain with one bullet. These sound like difficult tasks, but those who are able to think outside the box will be able to claim these rare achievements.
With this partial achievement list released ahead of time, players will be able to map out their possible routes for completing several without having to replay the game more than a couple of times. In fact, Resident Evil 4's returning New Game Plus mode could make the succeeding playthroughs easier and faster. Unlockables and upgraded equipment could really help out in finishing some of the more complicated tasks. But as always, since this is a leak and not yet confirmed by Capcom, the info should be taken with a grain of salt.
