In recent years, Japanese developer and publisher Capcom has dominated the sales charts with the remakes of its classic games and sequels of its biggest franchises. Now, PC video game retailer Fanatical is currently offering massive discounts on games from Capcom's biggest franchises such as Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter World, Street Fighter, and many more

Headlining Fanatical's Capcom publisher sale is the pre-order of Resident Evil 3 remake, which is scheduled to release on April 3, 2020. Players can pre-order Resident Evil 3 for $47.18, which is 24% cheaper than its current price of $59.99. As a reward for players who will pre-purchase the remake, a DLC costume pack will be included with the pre-order, which will allow players to swap Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveria's default outfits with their original counterparts.

Interestingly enough, the game's Deluxe Edition is available for $22.49, which is significantly cheaper than the Standard Edition that is priced at $33.99. Fanatical's deal on Resident Evil 2 remake is the perfect opportunity for players who haven't played the game to catch up on the story of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield, in preparation for Resident Evil 3's release.

Meanwhile, Capcom officially confirmed several days ago that Resident Evil 3 remake will be getting a playable demo similar to Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 7. At the moment, the studio still hasn't announced the contents of the demo and when it will become available. However, given that Resident Evil 3 is less than a month away, the playable preview could be released anytime soon.

Moreover, recent gameplay previews of Resident Evil 3 remake confirmed some scary changes that were implemented in the design of the game's iconic antagonist, Nemesis. Additionally, footages of the upcoming game confirmed the return of explosive items in the game such as red barrels and electrical generators. These items would offer players an opportunity to strategize their use given that they are effective weapons against hordes of zombies and can also be used to temporarily stun Nemesis.
