It is without a doubt that Capcom's upcoming remake of Resident Evil 3 is one of the most highly-anticipated video games that is set to launch this year. Ever since Capcom's announcement of the remake late last year, the hype for the upcoming game continues to explode within the Resident Evil community as it approaches its scheduled release date of April 3, 2020.

Now, YouTube user MyExcavation made a video that recreated the short intro of the 1999 game with the original music but with footage from past trailers of the remake. Just like the original intro, the fan-created one featured a montage of clips of zombies invading Raccoon City, UBCS mercenary Carlos Oliveria, STARS officer Brad Vickers, and of course, the main heroine Jill Valentine and her escape from the relentless pursuit of the iconic Nemesis. For comparison, here is the original short intro of the 1999 game Resident Evil 3.

Just a few days ago, Capcom released a brand-new trailer for the Resident Evil 3 remake that brought tons of new details about the upcoming game. The latest footage is focused on the game's primary antagonist Nemesis and showed the monster in action carrying a flamethrower. The trailer also confirmed the return of the terrifying creatures called Hunters and gave players a better look at Jill Valentine and a few of the game's other characters such as Carlos Oliveria, Nikolai Ginovaef, Mikhail Viktor, and many more.

Meanwhile, rumors recently surfaced online about the return of a classic enemy type that was featured in early Resident Evil games. Ever since Resident Evil 4, infected Crows were largely phased out from the series, and were a no-show at 2019's remake of Resident Evil 2. At the moment, it is unclear whether the crows will make a return in Resident Evil 3 remake. However, Capcom's Tsuyoshi Otani recently tweeted a video showing a flock of live crows that was interpreted by some fans as a tease for their eventual return in the upcoming game.

Luckily, fans won't have to wait for too long for Resident Evil 3, given that the game is just a few months away from release. Pre-orders for Resident Evil 3 are now available at most major video game retailers, and players who pre-purchase the game will receive a bonus DLC that will allow them to switch the default outfits of Jill and Carlos to their original counterparts.

Resident Evil 3 is set to release on April 3, 2020, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
