Capcom's Resident Evil has been one of the most successful and well-known survival horror franchises in video game history. Most recently, the publisher has announced that it is currently developing a new Resident Evil game called Project Resistance, which will introduce the 4v1 asymmetric multiplayer structure for the first time in the franchise's 23-year history. Now, as players wait for the release of Project Resistance, the rest of Resident Evil's library of games are currently discounted for the PC.

Online video game retailer Green Man Gaming is currently offering select Resident Evil titles for up to 80% off on the PC. On top of the list is the recently released remake of Capcom's beloved 1998 classic, Resident Evil 2. Green Man Gaming is offering the standard edition of Resident Evil 2 for $31.31 (48% off), and the Deluxe Edition for $43.46 (38% off). During its release last January, Resident Evil 2 Remake received astounding praise from both critics and fans alike.

Green Man Gaming is also offering Resident Evil 7, which is the latest installment in the franchise's timeline for $13.50 (55% off) for the standard edition, and 18.90 (62% off) for the Gold Edition. The release of the game resulted in resounding success with Resident Evil 7 selling more than 4 million copies less than a year after its release. The game is known for bringing the Resident Evil franchise back to its survival-horror roots, which seemed to have been absent in the past couple of games.
