Every RPG needs its own kind of in-game currency and in Remnant 2, this comes in the form of Scrap, literal bits and bobs of junks players can find almost anywhere in the game's ruined worlds. Considering how the remaining humans in Ward 13 use junk as weapons and armor, it's no wonder why Scrap is so valuable.

Players will need a ton of Scrap if they want to interact with most of the Remnant 2 vendors. Crafting, upgrading, and purchasing various items all require Scrap, and players will quickly find their reserves depleted if they aren't careful with how they spend. With that said, here are two of the best places to farm scrap to help players stock up for the future.

Remnant 2: Best Scrap Farm

Entering a N'Erudian dungeon in Remnant 2

One of the best places to farm Scrap in the game is in The Hatchery, one of the two possible main dungeons players can get on N'Erud. It doesn't matter if players spawn in Seeker's Rest or the Forgotten Prison so long as they don't get the Putrid Domain.

Ever since the Chimney's infinitely-spawning monsters got patched out, the Hatchery now might just be the top when it comes to both Scrap and XP farming. This is simply because of how high the mob density is in this dungeon. Players will encounter a ton of alien bugs as they navigate the Hatchery's tight corridors, and they're all fairly easy to beat as well.

The Enigma is especially strong here since it can chain its damage to multiple targets at once. Use it to fry every bug in the map (except the boss), then use the Liquid Escape item to reset back to the dungeon entrance, respawning all the bugs for another Scrap and XP-filled run.

Farming an elite enemy in Remnant 2

Running the Hatchery is going to take a few minutes to finish. Players who want a quicker farm route should instead go to the Labyrinth's Fractured Ingress checkpoint. Head up the stairs to the left to start a fight against some stone constructs. An elite construct will always spawn here, and it will drop approximately 60 Scrap every time it is defeated. It also has a chance of dropping a Lumenite Crystal, which can then be sold for even more Scrap.

To save players the hassle of running back and forth between the spawn zone and the checkpoint, go to the yellow portal near the elite's spawn and enter it. Then, go through it again to return to the Labyrinth. This will reset the player's spawn point to the portal entrance itself. From here, kill the elite construct again, then use Liquid Escape to respawn in place.

Remnant 2 is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
