Following Remnant 2's Awakened King DLC from November is its second DLC, The Forgotten Kingdom, now confirmed for release on April 23. It follows a few months of silence from Gunfire Games, but given that both Remnant 2 DLCs were announced about two weeks before release, it feels like a reliable pattern for the eventual release of DLC 3.

As many fans know, Remnant 2 features a DLC Bundle consisting of three-story DLC packs, with The Forgotten Kingdom constituting the second release. Fans can either purchase The Forgotten Kingdom individually for $9.99, or they can purchase the whole bundle for $24.99, granting them access to The Awakened King, The Forgotten Kingdom (upon release), and the third DLC. And with everything confirmed so far for The Forgotten Kingdom, it seems like the individual purchase is quite the deal and the bundle doubles down on that even further.

Remnant 2 Forgotten Kingdom DLC Story

In Remnant 2's Forgotten Kingdom DLC, players will be facing down new threats to bring some sort of peace to the titular kingdom. They will be piecing together the lost history of the lost Yaesha tribe, while dealing with an Ancient Stone Spirit called Lydusa. This spirit is wrathful and seeking vengeance, as players engage with Lydusa's living stones across a land haunted by torment, treachery, and death.

Remnant 2's Awakened King DLC received generally favorable reviews at launch, with Metacritic's Metascore being an 82. Knowing that The Forgotten Kingdom is more of the same, albeit with its own unique qualities and storyline, is an exciting venture. It'll be interesting to see where it has perhaps improved, but ultimately, as long as Gunfire Games has retained the same level of quality, it stands to reason Remnant 2 players are in for a treat.
