This will also bring players to another point of interest. Interacting with it causes the player to draw it in their journal, again adding their feelings about discovering it. Throwing a fire bottle where the hatchet is located will also cause it to rain, but will make the player lose honor.

At the post office in Strawberry, a man will be showing his friend the gun he got. Thankfully, it does not end as badly as it could have. The man will jokingly draw it on his friend, with the friend yelling at him not to do that. The man will then holster the weapon, but not before shooting himself in the leg.

The friend will panic and tell the man to go to the doctor's office. The man will refuse, saying it is not that bad. He then sits on a bench, resting his leg and his wound.

3 Only Settlement Not Connected To Electricity

An overview of the water wheel in Strawberry

Players might have noticed every settlement in Red Dead II is attached to the Lanik Electric Company in St. Denis. Even Tumbleweed in New Austin is attached to it through power lines. Strawberry is unique, as it does not have any power lines in the town. Instead, it could be assumed the water wheel is what powers the settlement.

There are power lines ready for shipping at Riggs Station, meaning Strawberry might be receiving this delivery. This detail shows that Strawberry is unique when it comes to the other settlements of the game.

1 Might Be Based On Real Location

An overhead view of Strawberry

Unlike other locations in the game, Strawberry might be based on a real location. A city – also named Strawberry – in El Dorado County in California looks the closest to the Strawberry in the game. It is located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range as well, much like how the in-game location is near the mountains.

The real-life Strawberry also succeeded in becoming a resort town, much like what the in-game mayor wishes. There are also stations that were once near the real-life town, much like the in-game location.
