Red Dead Redemption 2 still has one of the most detailed and intricate worlds in all of gaming even a few years after it first released. The attention to detail in Red Dead Redemption 2 can often be seen in the way that the realistic way that both human and animal A.I. behave.

One player was, luckily, able to record an instance in the game where a deer still had its antlers locked with another deer that it had bested and ultimately killed in a fight. While it is not entirely uncommon to see deer engaged in combat with one another in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, it seems as though many players had not come into contact with this particular A.I. event themselves. The clip shows a deer shaking its head as it tries to realistically remove itself from the antlers of its defeated foe and finally doing so when the player happened upon the animals.

This speaks volumes as it shows that the developer created all of these occurrences in the game knowing full well that only a few players who deeply explored the world would find them. Another example of the level of detail in Red Dead Redemption 2 is the way in which fire bottles explode. One player decided to throw a fire bottle and then quickly change to the game's photo mode in order to see what actually transpired when it exploded. The player was surprised to find actual shards of glass from the broken bottle had bounced up and were glistening in the air.

In fact, the attention to detail is not the only great thing about Red Dead Redemption 2 as players are still praising it for its writing as well. Even nearly 4 years after release, players still find the way Arthur Morgan "roasts" NPCs to be absolutely hilarious.

Of course, when a game is as intricate as Red Dead Redemption 2 there are bound to be funny glitches here and there when things go wrong. One player recorded an instance where their horse disappeared underground only to emerge similar to the way in which a zombie would crawl out of its grave.

Sometimes the A.I. in Red Dead Redemption 2 is slightly less intelligent than it is when showing two deer fighting one another. While completing a story mission, a player approached a train with fellow Van Der Linde gang member Charles, who proceeded to run straight into the side of the train without a second thought. The A.I. in Red Dead Redemption 2 should still be able to entertain fans of the game for years to come when it is at its best as well as when it is at its worst.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
