Future Red Dead Redemption Games Should Make Note of GTA 6's Rumored Inspiration

Rumors state that the narrative of GTA 6 is largely inspired by one real-world story, and Red Dead Redemption should use this approach going forward.

This apparent Red Dead Redemption 2 glitch was shared by redditorpegaso over on r/reddeadredemption. In their gameplay footage, the player character is seen hiding in the blind side of a doorway, being chased by the police. As the policeman opens the door, redditorpegaso also seems to interact with it at the same time. The policeman enters the room, scans it for a quick second, before heading back out the doorway without finding them. While the Wanted status didn't disappear, redditorpegaso clearly manages to escape detection, though it's not stated whether they were able to fully escape.

Some Red Dead Redemption 2 Glitches Can Be Creepy

While this particular glitch is funny, there are others that can be quite scary because it's not clear whether they are bugs or actual things developer Rockstar Games has put in the game. There are Red Dead Redemption 2 glitches that involve ghostly figures, which could be an intentional inclusion as Rockstar has been known to deliberately add in horror elements such as in Grand Theft Auto 5.

Then there's the equally disturbing Red Dead Redemption 2 glitch that turns the game into a horrific zombieland for a couple of seconds, which also would seem deliberate if it wasn't so out-of-character for the moment. Though most games, especially AAA titles, will never escape the grip of bugs, the good thing is there aren't a lot of glitches that break Red Dead Redemption 2 and render it unplayable.

As for any word about Red Dead Redemption 3, there hasn't been any peep from Rockstar Games about a timetable. Red Dead Online is still going strong, and one would expect that the studio has its hands full with the impending release of Grand Theft Auto 6. Red Dead Redemption 3 would have to be confined to the realm of fan speculation for now, as it likely may not be a big priority for the company just yet.
