Many Red Dead Redemption 2 players would likely agree that the game’s community is one of the key factors in keeping the title alive online. So much useful content for and by fans is being shared, such as an intricate Red Dead Redemption 2 map to help get 100% completion. And now, more players are starting to come online via Reddit to share their discoveries of new in-game interactions and activities, which they have only experienced years after Red Dead Redemption 2 was released.

With barely any official news about an upcoming title for the Red Dead Redemption series, it is not surprising that fans are making do with what the latest game currently offers. Some continue to make deep dives into Red Dead Redemption 2’s story to connect it to the original PlayStation 2 game, while others enjoy in-game tweaks generated by fan-made game mods. Despite having no new official content, the RDR2 community seems to have become self-sufficient in keeping their beloved title well played by its fanbase.

On the Red Dead Redemption subreddit, several users shared their new discoveries within the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. Though these players seem to have completed the main narrative already, they were able to find new in-game interactions that they have not encountered in their initial playthrough. User Bluespeedmouse557 posted a photo of a fruit merchant they found near the Trapper in Saint Denis. They noted that they did not know that it was possible to make transactions with the vendor in that specific part of the town. Comments on the thread also noted that it is possible to steal the fruits instead of purchasing them, which can lead to a small amount of in-game bounty.

Another user named ThiccusVanChungus also posted a photo of Arthur navigating the waters of the bayou using a small steamboat. The original poster mentioned that they did not know players could pilot these vessels. Commenters on the thread chimed in that they were able to travel to other locations with these vehicles. One even used a boat to sail to the dangerous prison area, which is one location for finding legendary fish in Red Dead Redemption 2.

With the large map, amount of side quests, characters, and intricate details in Red Dead Redemption 2, it is no wonder that many of the game’s players keep finding something new to enjoy. Hopefully Rockstar Games takes note of these fan discoveries, and retains them in future titles within the Red Dead Redemption franchise.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
