Taking advantage of PC modding implementations, Red Dead Redemption 2 fan TheKey32 created and shared their incredibly accurate recreation of RDR1's Agent Ross. From his luscious mustache to his furrowed brow, the creator spared no expense in bringing this highly recognizable character to life in the RDR2 engine. The model includes an olive green blazer overlaying a white undershirt and blue-grey vest atop tan trousers and a loose holster-style belt. The look is finished with a red silk necktie and a black bowler hat fit snugly upon the wrinkled forehead of Agent Ross. In typical Edgar Ross fashion, he is posed casually while holding a cigar in his right hand and bears a firm yet neutral expression on his face.

Looking at the exceptional detail of the model, it is easy to see that fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 are passionate about the ability to utilize and implement mods to get the most out of their favorite games and characters. The model's creator even notes in the Reddit post that developer Rockstar Games has been a bit lackluster in its support of the game. Many also commented under the post that they were happy to see more mods being made available for the game, along with praising the mod's creator for their work supporting the community.

Once again, gaming fans are voicing and showcasing their support of modding abilities in PC gaming. One of the driving forces of longevity in PC games is often the ability to download and enjoy various mods, which are typically fan-made. While studios may not always have the resources to pump out constant updates, modded content allows the player base to continue to extend interest in the game among themselves. Other games with a vast number of mods like the Sims franchise and Minecraft are perfect examples of fans maintaining interest in a game largely due to the expansive modding potential. A custom Agent Ross in Red Dead Redemption 2 is yet another example of fans using their imagination to keep their favorite characters around while exploring the full extent of modding in video games.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
