Along with Robert Pattinson taking over the role of the Caped Crusader himself, The Batman has assembled an exciting cast of actors to fill some iconic roles. From Jeffrey Wright as Jim Cordon to Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman to Colin Farrell as Penguin, it is a star-studded ensemble. Of course, with the new movie potentially starting a new Batman franchise, it is fun for fans to speculate on what other characters might be joining future sequels and which actors can play them. One villain Batman fans are likely very eager to see is Two-Face.

Two-Face is one of Batman's most personal enemies as he started out simply as Harvey Dent. Along with being the District Attorney in Gotham City, Dent was also a good friend to Bruce Wayne. However, Dent also had a darker side and when his face was badly scarred in an attempted assassination, the darker side took over and he became the villain Two-Face. Outside of the comics, Two-Face received a hugely acclaimed two-part origin story in the beloved Batman: The Animated Series. He was also played by Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever and Aaron Eckhart in The Dark Knight. Now, if Two-Face does indeed make a return in this new franchise, there are a number of actors who could tackle the complex and morally grey character.

Wyatt Russell

Wyatt Russell Auditioned To Play Captain America 10 Years before The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Though he is the son of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, Wyatt Russell has already established his own Hollywood career away from the shadow of his famous parents. He has shown incredible versatility with badass hero roles in Overlord as well as likable comedic roles in Lodge 49. He also knows something about stepping into huge roles in comic book movies as he recently appeared as John Walker in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. As the man meant to take over the mantle of Captain America in the absence of Steve Rogers, Walker was a character who shared a lot of similarities to Two-Face. Though poised to be a great hero, his darker side eventually broke through, leading Walker down a villainous path. Russell was the highlight of the series, playing the conflicted character with real depth and humanity while not shying away from his flaws. While he will likely have more to do in the MCU, it could be fun to see him step over to the DCEU as well.

Dev Patel

Dev Patel in The Green Knight

After winning the hearts of audiences with his breakout role in the Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire, Dev Patel gradually grew a very impressive career in Hollywood with increasingly interesting projects. Along with his Oscar-nominated role in Lion, Patel recently showed off his skills as a leading man in the medieval fantasy epic The Green Knight. That movie gave Patel an interesting hero role to portray as a young knight attempting to prove his honor. Patel has shown how much intensity he can bring to his roles which suggests he has a great villainous role in his future. A character as complex and interesting as Harvey Dent would be great to see him sink his teeth into and he could be a lot of fun to see playing opposite Pattinson.

Jake Lacy

Jack Lacy in White Lotus

Jake Lacy might not be as big of a name as some of the other actors here, but he seems to have a bright and exciting career ahead of him. For a while, Lacy was likely best known for his role on The Office as he was added later in the series and became somewhat of the young version of Jim. He was charming and funny in the role as one might expect for such a role, but it was ultimately unremarkable. However, Lacy recently showed off his talents wonderfully in the intense and hilarious black-comedy White Lotus. The series was set in a luxury Hawaiian resort with various self-centered and eccentric guests. Lacy was exceptional as the most obnoxious and toxic of the guests. It would be interesting to see Lacy bring that slimy, arrogant energy to a role like Two-Face.

Richard Madden

Richard Madden is another actor currently in the MCU but who might be a good fit for the DCEU as well. Madden had his breakout role as Robb Stark, the doomed King in the North, in Game of Thrones. After leaving the hit series, he gained huge acclaim for his leading role in the intense BBC thriller, Bodyguard. It was in that role that Madden really showed skills that would be suited for the role of Two-Face. He played a flawed and tortured hero dealing with his own dark personality. Though his role as part of the central group of heroes in the MCU's Eternals is still very secretive, the movie will no doubt continue to show Madden's talents and could lead to him taking on other bring projects.

Daniel Kaluuya

Daniel Kaluuya in Get Out

Oscar-winning actor Daniel Kaluuya seems poised to be one of the biggest stars of his generation. Though he certainly has a movie star quality, he has so far been a very versatile performer in some incredible roles. Of course, Kaluuya found fame and his first Oscar nomination with his role in Jordan Peele's influential horror movieGet Out. But while Kaluuya played an endearing hero who fans wanted to cheer for in that movie, he then did a total reversal in Widows. The underrated crime thriller found Kaluuya playing a ruthless and chilling villain. Both these roles show the kind of range Kaluuya would bring to a role like Two-Face and how effective he would be as such a fascinating villain.
