Several months ago, Ubisoft declared that additional PvE content akin to the limited time Outbreak event in Rainbow Six Siege is being planned for future seasons of the multiplayer game, but the company stopped short of unveiling any concrete details. Of course, with Year 4 arriving, there's a good chance fans could get more PvE information from the publisher and developer soon. However, Ubisoft has decided to focus its most recent announcement for R6S on what's going to be included in the title's Year 4 Season Pass.

As seen in the image below, Rainbow Six Siege's Year 4 Season Pass will provide players with eight new operators, eight fresh pieces of headgear and uniforms, a Lava Six Charm, and 600 R6 Credits. Plus, its VIP Membership perks include such features as seven-day early access to the season's new Operators, a 10% discount in the in-game shop, a 5% Renown boost, and a +0.3% Alpha Pack Boost, with the membership ending on January 31, 2020. What's more is that those who purchase the content pack before March 4, 2019 will receive a Volcano Signature Skin.

While some Rainbow Six Siege fans will be ready to dive head first into buying the Year 4 Season Pass, it's worth noting that players will have to spend $30 to get all of the aforementioned content available in the package. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise to veterans, but newcomers might be taken aback at the additional money that will need to be paid in order to keep up with the multiplayer game's meta.

All things considered, it's great to see Rainbow Six Siege and its community still going strong after the title's 2015 release date. It's safe to say that R6S had a somewhat rocky year, especially when one considers the censorship controversy that erupted following Ubisoft's decision to alter parts of the game to appease the Chinese market, with the fan backlash eventually leading to the developer reversing its decision to change the original assets. So, for the sake of Rainbow Six Siege and its fan base, Year 4 will hopefully remain drama-free.

Rainbow Six Siege is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
