PUBG: Battlegrounds has announced a new crossover with Street Fighter 6, bringing Capcom's game to Krafton's shooter. PUBG: Battlegrounds helped popularize battle royale games, and even after losing the crown to competition, PUBG continues to have an active player base and receive new content frequently.

PUBG: Battlegrounds is currently in Season 24 and recently received update 24.2, which introduced tweaks and some interesting new features. One of the highlights is the overhauled Arcade Mode, which allows for the simultaneous operation of multiple game modes. The update also introduced a new rewards and reputation system and the Bluebomb Rush mode. In addition to the frequent updates, PUBG: Battlegrounds invests in crossovers to keep players engaged.

A new collaboration between PUBG: Battlegrounds and Street Fighter 6 has been announced, bringing Capcom characters to the battle royale in the form of skins. Street Fighter 6 has been making history in the fighting game world, winning over audiences and racking up impressive numbers. PUBG: Battlegrounds players can purchase Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, and Luke skins through PUBG's store between July 26 and September 20, though Krafton has not revealed how much the skins will cost. The highlight of the list is Chun-Li, who received a skin with her classic look and another skin that reproduces the fighter's latest look, considered one of the best outfits in Street Fighter 6.

The Street Fighter 6 skins are part of PUBG: Battlegrounds' Store July update. In addition to skins featuring fighters from Capcom's game, the PUBG: Battlegrounds update is introducing a new line of skins called Marine Makeover. The game also got the new Atlantis DBS skin that gives an aquatic aesthetic to players' weapons with eye-catching ornaments and colors. Proving that PUBG: Battlegrounds skin crossovers aren't the only type of collaboration in Krafton's game, PUBG's store will get in July a new emote based on the song "Toca Toca" from dance group Fly Project.

PUBG: Battlegrounds is no stranger to collaborations with famous names, as PUBG had crossovers with Assassin's Creed and Dead by Daylight. These are interesting ways to unite communities from different games, keeping the PUBG community interested in the game and potentially gaining new players. For Street Fighter 6 the news is not surprising, as the success of the game has led to a crossover with Exoprimal and the unusual collaboration with the hit anime Spy x Family.

PUBG: Battlegrounds is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
