Cocoons are special hexagonal structures in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis that players can clear for Skill Points. Before a fan can clear the Cocoons, though, they must find them first, and indeed they are scattered all across Aelio. For those players that may be having trouble tracking down some of the Cocoons in PSO2 New Genesis, full details on all of their locations can be found in this guide.

To note, the challenges that are found inside of the Cocoons focus on aspects of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis like combat, movement, and more. While a majority of these challenges are fairly simple to complete, MMORPG fans may need to make several attempts on a couple of them. The Runway Cocoon in particular may require multiple tries, as it centers around a maze that players must navigate.

Cocoons are certainly not the only structures that players can visit as they travel across Aelio, as there are also a variety of Ryuker Device and Towers that they should be on the lookout for. The first of these two structure types function as fast travel waypoints in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, and they make traversing the map much easier. The second essentially serve as more-challenging Cocoons, and players will receive 4 Skill Points for every Tower challenge that they are able to complete.
