It turns out that the requirements for a game to qualify for the PS5 Pro Enhanced label have leaked, as per an InsiderGaming report. The source states that PS5 Pro Enhanced games would generally be required to offer an exclusive graphics mode, which includes 4K upscaling via PSSR, a steady 60 FPS, and the option to increase ray-tracing effects. According to the leak, such improved graphics performance would be possible via the faster RAM and GPU available in the PS5 Pro, which is speculated to be 45% faster than the base model.
Further, the report reveals that games could alternatively meet another set of requirements to get the PS5 Pro Enhanced tag. These requirements include increased target resolution in fixed resolution games, increased maximum resolution in variable resolution games, increased target frame rate in fixed frame rate games, and support for PS5 Pro ray tracing effects.
