All the essential information regarding Sony's next-generation console is out in the open now. The public knows how much the PlayStation 5 costs, its release date, and even the price range of next-generation games. All that's left now is for fans to see for themselves what the PS5 can do, and several Japanese Youtube channels have provided first-hand accounts of their experience with the new gaming system.

Sony allowed these content creators to get their hands on the PlayStation 5 before its release to show it off during YouTube Gaming Week, a 12-day event that sees over a hundred Japanese content creators streaming games on various consoles and mobile platforms. Ten lucky creators were selected to live stream the PS5, and one of them uploaded a video around 24 minutes long afterward.

The video depicts several aspects of the PlayStation 5, such as the physical size of the console and its controller. It also shows some PlayStation 5 gameplay of Godfall, Astro's Playroom, and even Balan Wonderworld, the upcoming title from Square Enix. The DualSense controller's features are fully displayed here, too. Viewers get to see its Adaptive Triggers and Haptic Feedback in action, especially during Astro's Playroom.

There have also been other details shared concerning the PlayStation 5 by other people lucky enough to get hands-on experience with the console early. Some outlets are confirming that the console does indeed have near-instant loading times. More impressively, the PlayStation 5 is exceptionally quiet when it runs, something the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4 struggle with.

Sadly, there's still no real footage of the PlayStation 5's new user interface. It looks like creators weren't allowed to stream the new UI while they had time with the console. It's supposed to look completely different from the PlayStation 4, so it would have been nice to catch a glimpse of it. Sony apparently has plans to show it off before release, though, so a reveal for it will happen soon enough.

At the moment, it's unclear when Western creators and media will be able to get their hands on the console or release footage of themselves using it. There's only a little over a month left before the PlayStation 5 releases, though, so any information regarding that should happen fairly soon.

Maybe the announcement will happen when YouTube Gaming Week concludes. Sony confirmed that when the event ends, it will host a show afterward called "Try," where the content creators who tried out the console will be able to share their thoughts and opinions about it officially. Sony could announce and event for Western creators during this time.

PlayStation 5 releases November 12.
