According to a new rumor, Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace could be coming to the Premium tier of PlayStation Plus as a classic game. PS Plus Premium users get a few additional benefits over the other tiers, as gamers in this category can play select PS1, PS2, and PSP titles at no extra cost.

Sony regularly updates the list of games available to PS Plus Premium subscribers, with new games coming to the service every month. Grandia, Jet Moto, Klonoa: Phantasy Reverie Series, PaRappa the Rapper 2, and Up, were added to PS Plus Premium in November 2023, in addition to titles like Teardown and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen for the Extra tier. It looks like Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace will also be coming to PS Plus Premium, as it has now been rated for PS5 and PS4.
