Members in the Premium tier of PlayStation Plus can download yet another full game trial, as Sony adds Weird West to the lineup. PlayStation Plus Premium offers a ton of benefits to consumers, with the ability to play select PS1, PS2, and PSP games being one of its key features.

Subscribers in the Premium tier of PS Plus can also take advantage of a unique feature known as full game trials, which gives users access to the release version of titles for a limited number of hours. This period varies between games, with some titles offering just one hour of gameplay, while other games allow fans to play for up to five hours. Now, PS Plus Premium users can check out another trial at no extra cost, as Sony adds Weird West to the collection.

As reported by Push Square, PlayStation Plus Premium members can play Weird West for up to two hours, giving users an opportunity to get hands-on experience with the game. Published by Devolver Digital, Weird West is a top-down action RPG that received generally positive reviews upon its launch last year. It came out on PS5 and Xbox Series X just a few days ago, with support for 4K resolution and 60 FPS gameplay.

Fans should note that this two-hour period starts upon launching Weird West, and players should close it from the PS5 home menu to stop the timer. While two hours may not seem that long, it’s probably enough to give users an idea about the gameplay mechanics and features of Weird West, thereby allowing them to make an informed purchasing decision.

PS Plus Premium members can also check out trials for a bunch of different games at no extra, including critically acclaimed titles like God of War Ragnarok and Persona 5 Royal. Sony recently added another game published by Digital Devolver called Carrion as a full game trial to PS Plus Premium, although it only offers an hour of gameplay.

Subscribers in the higher tiers of PS Plus should note that Sony has confirmed the list of games coming to Extra and Premium later this month. PS Plus Extra and Premium members can playRatchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the latest Tomb Raider trilogy, Watch Dogs: Legion, Thymesia, The Evil Within 2, and many more games starting May 16. Premium users can also check out titles like Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow and Pursuit Force on top of the games available in the Extra tier.
