As revealed by PlayStation Game Size, a trial for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available to PS Plus Premium members, allowing them to play the game for up to four hours. As players can take over 50 hours to beat The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, four hours only offer a brief introduction to its story and gameplay mechanics. Regardless, this period will let PS Plus Premium subscribers get hands-on experience with the game.

Fans interested in playing through the trial for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt should note that CD Projekt Red recently released a new update for the game that came with a bunch of notable improvements. The new update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt fixed a wide variety of issues in the game, such as fixes for grass collision and problems related to the ray tracing implementation.

Many time-limited game trials on PS Plus Premium offer two to three hours of gameplay, but this duration appears to depend upon the genre and the publisher. Massive RPGs like Cyberpunk 2077 have a five-hour trial, but some titles only allow users to play for up to an hour. Hogwarts Legacy is probably the biggest outlier, as its PS Plus Premium trial lasts for just 45 minutes.

PS Plus Premium users also get all the benefits of the other two tiers, giving them access to a huge catalog of titles in addition to the free monthly games. While Sony is yet to reveal the games coming to PS Plus Premium in August 2023, members in all PS Plus tiers can playDeath's Door, Dreams, and PGA Tour 2K23 next month.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
