PlayStation Plus will transform into a three-tiered service on June 13, but its core will remain the same. The Essential tier is the same as PlayStation Plus today, and Sony will continue to offer free games every month.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can play God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl in June 2022 at no extra cost. These titles are offered as free monthly games and will be available to members across all three tiers. However, it looks like PS Plus members in Asian regions are getting a fourth bonus game this month.

A PlayStation Asia Tweet reveals that subscribers will get Can’t Drive This in addition to God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Can’t Drive This is a “competitive co-op” multiplayer racing game where players drive a monster truck as their friends build roads in front of them. To make matters more interesting, they will explode if they drive the truck too slowly. Both PS5 and PS4 versions of Can’t Drive This will be available to PS Plus subscribers in Asia on June 7.

Judging by its description, Can’t Drive This seems like a fun party game and probably would have made the lineup more appealing to some users. As of now, most of the complaints consist of fans questioning Sony’s decision to offer God of War as the marquee game for the month. God of War is available to PS5 owners via the PS Plus Collection, and it will also be a part of the Extra and Premium tiers, making it redundant for many subscribers.

Similar discrepancies in PlayStation Plus games have occurred in the past. In March, PS Plus subscribers in Asia got Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons instead of Ark: Survival Evolved in other regions. PS Plus members in Asia also got a bonus game in December 2021 in the form of Judgment from the team behind the Yakuza series. On the other hand, Slay the Spire was curiously omitted from the lineup in April, so members only got access to two titles instead of three in other regions.

These differences are also not limited to the free monthly games. The new PS Plus tiers launched today in Japan, and users report seeing more games in the Extra tier than in the Asian release. This includes some games exclusively released in Japan, along with Fallout 4, Prey, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope, Enter the Gungeon, and others.
