Members in the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus will lose access to eight games in September 2023, with an additional title set to leave at the end of August. PS Plus Extra and Premium users get a bunch of new games every month, as Sony regularly refreshes the catalog available to subscribers.

10 games will leave PS Plus Extra and Premium in August 2023, with players losing access to some noteworthy titles. Borderlands 3, Yakuza 0, The Crew 2, Nidhogg, and more will leave the higher tiers of PS Plus this month, and unlike the free monthly titles, members will no longer be able to play these games once they are gone. Now, Sony has updated the list of the games leaving PS Plus in September 2023, with another game set to be removed at the end of August.

As revealed by PlayStation Game Size, Deathloop, Chicory: A Colorful Tale, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2, Death end re;Quest 2, Nidhogg 2, and Through the Darkest of Times will leave PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on September 19. Additionally, Steep will be removed from these PS Plus tiers on August 31, making it a total of nine games. So, users interested in these titles have over a month to play them, with around two weeks remaining for Steep.

This list includes mainly includes some Ubisoft games, along with a few notable indie titles like Chicory and Nidhogg 2. Deathloop was added to the PS Plus Extra lineup in September 2022, so it’s going to be leaving the service after a year. Given that Deathloop is now owned by Microsoft, its departure from PS Plus isn't a big surprise.

With some notable games leaving PS Plus in September 2023, it’ll be interesting to see what titles are added to the service next month as replacements. Till then, PS Plus Extra and Premium members can try out 17 more games including Lost Judgment, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed, Cursed to Golf, and more.

Additionally, Moving Out 2 and Sea of Stars will join PS Plus Extra and Premium in August 2023 as day one releases. While Moving Out 2 will be available with the rest of the lineup, PS Plus members can start playing Sea of Stars when it comes out on August 29.
