The file sizes have been revealed for June's selection of games featured on Sony’s PS Plus subscription service. A wealth of titles are hitting PS Plus this month and vary in sizes from less than 1 GB to over 70 GB, so the additional information will help players manage the space on their consoles.

In 2022, Sony revamped PS Plus to a three-tiered service, giving players access to different levels of games. The Essential service typically offers 3-4 games per month which gamers can claim and keep for as long as they stay a member. The Extra tier unlocks many PS4 and PS5 games, whereas the Premium level includes games from all of Sony’s consoles. With over 500 titles currently available, players have to manage their console’s storage or risk being unable to download new games added to the service when they become accessible.

The account PlayStation Game Size on Twitter has posted a list of the file sizes for the games that will be added to the PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers throughout June. The free monthly PS Plus Games for June 2024 were revealed to be AEW Fight Forever, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, and Streets of Rage 4 and will be available from Tuesday, June 4.

Both Spongebob and AEW Fight Forever will have both current and last-gen versions available, with Spongebob taking up 15.8 GB on PS4 and 7.015 GB for the PS5. Yuke’s wrestling brawler is one of the bigger games this month, clocking in at 37.9 GB for the PS4 game and 20.1 GB for those wanting to download the PS5 version. In comparison, Streets of Rage 4 weighs in at 7.9 GB.

For PS Plus Extra and Premium members, the critically acclaimed Indie game Dredge is the smallest game this month, demanding a paltry 689 MB of room. On the flip side of Dredge’s tiny footprint, the largest game coming to PS Plus is Cricket 24. Players need to clear almost 71 GB of room on their consoles to install the sporting title.

With regular additions to the service, players certainly have a wide variety of games to enjoy. To be fair, it's not all good news, as several games will be leaving PS Plus in June, including heavy hitter Grand Theft Auto 5, which departs the service on June 18. Despite the removal of these titles, there is still a large variety of games for players to enjoy as part of their PS Plus subscriptions.
