PlayStation Plus subscribers can avail a bunch of free content in a newly released game, as they will get a special bonus in Omega Strikers at no extra cost. The PS Plus free monthly games for May 2023 are available now, allowing members to play Grid Legends, Chivalry 2, and Descenders at no extra cost. The Twitter account of Omega Strikers has released a short video with an announcement confirming its launch on PS5. The video doesn’t show much about the game, but the tweet mentions that PlayStation Plus subscribers will unlock all Strikers in Omega Strikers for free. Strikers in Omega Strikers function as different characters that have a unique set of abilities, similar to the available choices in a hero shooter. So, this will let PS Plus members try out all the playable characters in Omega Strikers, allowing them to continue playing with the ones they like the most.

PlayStation Plus users also get a ton of packs for various games with their subscription service, granting them even more in-game content. These packs often include cosmetic items such as skins and emblems, or bonus in-game currencies to give them a head start. Right now, users can go to the PS Plus Exclusive Packs section of the store to check out free content available in games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Fall Guys, and more.

While these bonuses are available to all, the higher tiers of PS Plus continue to offer great games, with last month’s lineups adding some notable titles, especially from Bethesda. PS Plus Extra members can download games like Doom Eternal, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, and more at no extra cost, while Premium users get access to Doom and Doom 2 among others.

Sony is yet to reveal the list of games coming PS Plus Extra and Premium in May 2023, but one game is already confirmed for this month. Humanity is said to launch on PS Plus Extra as a day one release, and members can start playing it from May 16.
