PS Plus subscribers can already play the three titles available in July 2023 on their PS4 or PS5. The PS Plus games for July were revealed a few days ago, and surprised PlayStation owners with one of them being part of the popular Call of Duty franchise, which is known for its strong multiplayer scene.

Gamers who use PS Plus were able to play three titles in June: NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek To Yomi. These games offered a good mixture of genres, ranging from sports to building simulation and side-scroller action.

Now, gamers who subscribe to PS Plus can download and play Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Cross-Gen Bundle, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling: Extinction is Forever. The games of the month can be claimed by PS Plus subscribers of all tiers, including the lowest one, PS Plus Essential, and are part of the monthly offerings made by Sony’s service. After they claim these games, they will be playable as long as the players have their subscriptions. All games can only be downloaded until July 31, so gamers shouldn’t wait too long to get them.

  • Endling: Extinction is Forever

Perhaps the most notable inclusion between these three games is the remastered version of Alan Wake, which sets the stage for the launch of Alan Wake 2, which will be out on October 17, 2023. Unlike the first title, Alan Wake 2 will have dual stories, focusing both on Alan Wake, who was featured in the first game, and another protagonist called Saga Anderson, who works as an FBI agent. Subscribers will also be able to download Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which was originally released back in 2020, and was considered an average game of the franchise that had a few issues at launch, but most of them are solved by now. Finally, there’s also Endling: Extinction is Forever, a cute Indie game in which gamers explore a post-apocalyptic world as a fox, and it has strong eco-conscious vibes.

Unfortunately, not everything is good news for PS Plus subscribers in July. 10 games are leaving PS Plus in the month, and won’t be available for Extra and Premium subscribers anymore. The list includes some quite popular titles such as the remasters of the three BioShock games and Stray, as well as some other ones that were not as successful, such as Marvel’s Avengers, which was fairly criticized at launch.
