NBA 2K20 is a basketball simulation game and the 21st installment in this extremely-popular franchise. It was released in September 2019 and was met with generally positive reviews, with critics praising its gameplay in particular. That said, it is true that NBA 2K20 has not be very well-received by the playerbase, and fans that did not buy the game due to user reviews can now get it for free thanks to PS Plus.

In 2013, Crystal Dynamics rebooted the Tomb Raider franchise, and Rise of the Tomb Raider is the sequel to that preliminary reboot. Released in November 2015, Rise of the Tomb Raider is an action-adventure game that follows Lara Croft on her hunt for a mythical city in Siberia, and the edition available through PS Plus includes some extras, such as the additional "Blood Ties" chapter.

Finally there is Erica, an interactive mystery that plays a bit like Black Mirror: Bandersnatch with some additional opportunities for the player to take control. While Erica may not be as well-known as NBA 2K20 or Rise of the Tomb Raider, it is undoubtedly a unique experience, and fans that are looking to try something a little different may be excited to see this title as part of PS Plus's free offerings for July 2020.
