PS Plus members will soon have the opportunity to play the upcoming first-person shooter multiplayer video game, Meet Your Maker, and it seems like its developer has some big post-launch plans for it. Meet Your Maker was first announced in August 2022, and will be available to all PS Plus subscribers starting from April 4 until May 1.

Meet Your Maker is a post-apocalyptic multiplayer game made by Behaviour Interactive, the developer behind Dead by Daylight. In the game, players must design and build ingenious Outposts in order to protect their precious Genmat, an important resource. Gamers must both safeguard their Outpost and infiltrate other players’ Outposts in order to steal their Genmat. Meet Your Maker will offer players a wide array of tools, deathtraps, and customization options, allowing them to express their creativity in limitless ways.

Behaviour Interactive has revealed the exciting details of Meet Your Maker’s post-launch content updates. On April 18th, 2023, a free update named “Hellscape Deco Pack” will provide players with new cosmetic items in the form of two blocks and props, eight decals, and one animated prop. Beyond the expected bug fixing and balancing patches, Meet Your Maker will also feature several smaller updates over the next couple of months, consisting of additional Mods and Augments added to the in-game Advisor Station. These can be used to further customize traps and guards and can only be obtained via playtime.

One of the three free PS Plus April games, Meet Your Maker, will get its first major content update, dubbed Sector 1: Dreadshore, in late June 2023. Dreadshore will feature a brand-new Environment that promises to be very different from the game’s regular Desert biome, complete with a new style of blocks that can be used to build a special type of Outpost. Players will have instant access to the aforementioned features, however, Dreadshore will also include new gameplay elements in the form of additional Custodians, Weapons, Traps, and Guards, all of which can be unlocked through playtime or purchased with real money. Finally, Dreadshore will also bring an additional Cosmetic Collection, which can only be purchased through the PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam stores.

Meet Your Maker’s unique base-building core gameplay experience and interesting mechanics have garnered significant attention from the gaming community. Often compared to a darker and grittier Mario Maker and Minecraft combination, the Dieselpunk-themed game is designed in such a way as to challenge players' strategic thinking and tactical abilities, by allowing them to participate in carefully calculated raids against the enemy Outposts or designing intricate Outposts of their own.

Meet Your Maker will be available on April 4 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
