October is almost over, which means many PS Plus subscribers are looking forward to the next set of games, but these are always hard to predict. It's impossible to predict what Sony will add to PS Plus, but the past few months have been pretty good. Whatever they end up being, fans should be happy, but there are definitely some games that should come to the service, if not next month then eventually.

Sony is expected to reveal the PS Plus free games for November 2022 (the Essential tier) on October 26, with the games releasing on November 1. Sony has revealed its entire Essential, Extra, and Premium line-up once before, but chances are, fans will have to wait two weeks after that to see what the games are. In the meantime, here are a few games we think would excel (even if not added all at once).

PS Plus Free (Essential) Games for November 2022 Wish List

Hades (PS5/PS4) - Hades isn't the reason the roguelike genre is popular again, but it does show the sheer potential of the genre. Hades reviews were through the roof, and many fans fell in love with its design, story, and more. It hasn't graced PS Plus before, but there's a strong case to be made that it should, especially for anyone who hasn't gotten around to it.

Life is Strange 2 (PS4) - November evokes the fall season, and while a lot of games bring out the best of this season, Life is Strange 2 is one that should be on the service. This tale of two brothers trying to survive on their own is a fun title many may have slept on. It's the black sheep of sorts compared to Life is Strange 1 or True Colors, but it would be a big get for the service.

Tales of Vesperia (PS4) - Interestingly enough, it doesn't seem any of the Tales Of games have ever appeared on PS Plus. Many would likely argue that Tales of Arise should be the first title, as this recent release is incredibly popular, but it's still a bit early. Instead, Tales of Vesperia would be a great representative here, with Tales of Arise eventually coming instead of leading the way.

PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for November 2022 Wish List

ps plus premium adds new trial

The hardest tiers to make a wish list for are PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium, as the library and possibilities are just so vast. Sony also appears to be working out bringing a bunch of complete (or mostly) franchises to PS Plus like Assassin's Creed and Yakuza, but it can't ignore little one-offs. For example, Legacy of Kain fans have been wanting a remaster forever, but a PS1 game playable on PS5 would be welcome. The only God of War games not available via PS Plus (minus next month's Ragnarok) are the two PSP games, and there's a strong case to have all of those available on PS5. Whatever it adds, here is our full wish list for Extra and Premium:

  • PS5: Trek to Yomi
  • PS4: Night in the Woods, Kentucky Route Zero
  • PS3: Drakengard 3, Puppeteer
  • PSP: God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War: Ghost of Sparta
  • PS2:Burnout 3: Takedown, Dragon Quest 8
  • PS1: Legacy of Kain, Final Fantasy Tactics

PS Plus subscribers get a handful of games every month.
