Sony has announced 15 games coming to the Extra tier of its PlayStation Plus subscription service and three games coming to the Premium tier as part of the July 2023 update. While PlayStation Plus may still be best known for the monthly free games it gives out to subscribers, the Extra and Premium tiers have helped establish it as viable alternative to Xbox Game Pass.

It's true that PS Plus Extra and Premium don't often feature day one games like Xbox Game Pass, but they do regularly add significant new titles to their lineups. Typically, these big PS Plus Extra and Premium updates come in the middle of the month, and that will hold true for the July 2023 games. The next big update for the PS Plus Premium and Extra tiers will come on Tuesday, July 18, so fans should be sure to mark their calendars.
