PS Plus Premium Adds New Trial for One of 2023's Best Games
Members in the Premium tier of PlayStation Plus can now play one of 2023's highest-rated games for a set number of hours at no extra cost.
The latest PS Plus Extra update is live now, giving PS4 and PS5 gamers access to nine new games, including day one game Teardown. As of now, PS Plus Extra subscribers can try Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz, Dead Island: Riptide - Definitive Edition, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme vs. Maxi Boost On, Nobunaga's Ambition: Taishi, River City Melee Mach!!, Superliminal, and the aforementioned Teardown.

Teardown was first released on PC last year, but it's just now making its debut on consoles as a day one PS Plus Extra game. PS Plus Extra doesn't typically feature day one releases, which makes Teardown's addition to the lineup especially exciting. Some previous day one PS Plus Extra games include cat game Stray and critically-acclaimed puzzle game Humanity. It remains to be seen if Teardown will reach the same heights as those day one PS Plus Extra games, but anyone curious can try it out now. It should be noted that Teardown is only available on PS5, however, so PS Plus Extra subscribers that have yet to upgrade are out of luck.
