The file sizes for the games coming to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus have been revealed. PS Plus Extra subscribers get access to a catalog of hundreds games in addition to the features offered by the Essential tier. The full list of titles changes regularly, with Sony adding and removing games every month.Sony recently announced the PS Plus Extra lineup for July 2023, confirming that It Takes Two, Sniper Elite 5, The Ascent, World War Z, and more will be joining the service. PS Plus Premium subscribers get a few additional titles, as Gravity Crash Portable, Twisted Metal, and Twisted Metal 2 will be available to users. Now, the file sizes of this month’s PS Plus Extra games have been revealed, giving fans a better idea about how much space they will need.It Takes Two is probably the most noteworthy game coming to PS Plus Extra in July 2023, and PlayStation Game Size confirms that users will need 37.350 GB and 45.459 GB for its PS4 and PS5 versions respectively. Sniper Elite 5 has a ridiculously large file size on PS5, as it takes 91.471 GB on Sony’s latest console. Its PS4 edition is much smaller in comparison, as it needs 59.458 GB of storage space. The PS4 and PS5 versions of World War Z require 46.775 GB and 21.588 GB respectively, with Melty Blood: Type Lumina taking up 7.113 GB of space.
Snowrunner needs 22.307 GB of storage on PS5, compared to 27.245 GB for its PS4 counterpart, while SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated will take up 15.857 GB of space. The PS4 and PS5 versions of The Ascent require 26.076 GB and 18.074 GB, while Dysmantle will utilize 3.224 GB of storage space. The critically acclaimed Undertale is the smallest game on the list, as users will only need 358 MB to install it.
Dynasty Warriors 9 will take up 48.593 GB of storage, but Samurai Warriors 5 is a lot smaller, coming in at around 12.8 GB. The rest of the PS Plus Extra lineup for July 2023 isn’t that large, as Circus Electrique and My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure require 7.6 GB and 2.14 GB respectively. Finally, Monster Jam: Steel Titans takes up 16.5 GB, with Fast & Furious: Spy Racers - Rise of Shifter needing around 4.7 GB of space. Overall, it looks like players won’t have to make a ton of room on their consoles to play most of these titles.
