The file sizes of the games coming to the Extra tier of PS Plus in August 2023 have been revealed. PS Plus Extra members get a bunch of new games every month, with Premium users also getting access to these titles along with other bonuses.
Sony recently announced that PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will get to play 17 new games in August 2023. This list includes Lost Judgment, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed, and more, with Sea of Stars and Moving Out 2 being day one additions to the catalog. Now, the file sizes of these titles have been revealed, giving PS Plus Extra members a better idea about the amount of space they will take.
Lost Judgement is among the most noteworthy games coming to the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus in August 2023, and gamers will need to clear up 47.161 GB of space to install it on PS5. By comparison, its PS4 counterpart will take up 56.404 GB of storage. Media Molecule’s Dreams requires 10.575 GB of space, while Spellforce 3 Reforced will need 16.041 GB of storage. The PS4 and PS5 versions of Cursed to Golf take up 4.801 GB and 1.017 GB of space respectively, with Extra users needing 9.326 GB to install Midnight Fight Express.
Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed requires 41.779 GB of space on PS5, while its PS4 version needs around 32.6 GB. Players will need to have 5.095 GB free to install Two Point Hospital: Jumbo Edition, with the PS5 version of Source of Madness taking up just 1.342 GB of space. PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night will need 8.483 GB and around 13.6 GB on PS5 and PS4 respectively, and the PS5 edition of Hotel Transylvania: Scary Tale Adventures needs 5.855 GB of space. Finally, the day one PS Plus addition Moving Out 2 requires roughly 2 GB of storage space on PlayStation consoles.
It should be noted that licenses for Destiny 2: The Witch Queen and Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition will simply be added to users’ accounts, so it looks like players will not have to initiate a separate download to play them. Finally, as Sea of Stars is set to launch on August 29, its file size is currently unavailable, but it probably won’t take up a huge amount of space given the overall look of the game.
