PlayStation Plus now has three tiers for subscribers to choose from, with the PS Plus Extra tier essentially functioning as a combination of PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now. This means that PS Plus Extra subscribers not only get access to the free monthly games, but they can also check out an expansive library of additional titles from the PS4 and PS5. It seems that PS Plus Extra will occasionally feature day one releases as well, as is the case with one of the latest games added to the service.

Just recently, Sony updated the PS Plus Extra lineup to include a brand-new, day one game in the form of the "cat game" Stray. Stray has earned mostly positive reviews so far, with critics impressed by the game's feline protagonist, impressively-detailed graphics, and interesting game world. Stray is a short but sweet experience that PS Plus Extra subscribers should check out when they get the chance, but it's also notable for having a very easy Platinum trophy for trophy hunters to unlock.

As obvious by Stray's trophy list, the Platinum should be very easy for players to unlock, requiring relatively little time investment. Many of the Stray trophies can be unlocked simply by progressing through the story, and those that remain can be unlocked without much more effort.

Besides the story-based trophies, Stray's other trophies require players to find unique interactions and Easter eggs in the game world, for the most part. Stray lets players revisit chapters they've previously completed, so none of the trophies are really missable beyond the one that asks players to complete the game in under two hours. Stray is a short game that can be completed in five hours or less on an initial playthrough, and in total, PlayStation gamers can expect to unlock the Platinum trophy in under 10 hours total.

If one uses a guide to speed up the process and point out the locations of all of Stray's collectibles, it can be completed even faster. So anyone wanting to unlock a fresh Platinum trophy should consider checking out Stray through their PS Plus Extra subscription.
