PlayStation's close relationship with Activision and the Call of Duty franchise over the past years has been particularly lucrative for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Call of Duty players have received early or exclusive access to betas, DLC, and more. That lucrative partnership has continued into the release of Call of Duty: Warzone and has borne fruit yet again. On Wednesday, Activision released a free DLC for PlayStation Plus subscribers grading Call of Duty: Warzone players a pack including a Legendary Operator Skin. The Call of Duty: Warzone Combat Pack (Odyssey) is a free add-on available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in celebration of Season Three of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone. The Combat Pack (Odyssey) is, for now, a PlayStation Plus exclusive. It isn't clear whether the Combat Pack (Odyssey) is a timed exclusive or not, so there's no end date available at this time. Call of Duty: Warzone players with PlayStation Plus subscriptions should capitalize on the offer before long, so they don't have to worry about it.RELATED: Call of Duty: Warzone Does Not Require PS Plus, But Subscribers Will Get A BonusAs for what's inside Call of Duty: Warzone's Combat Pack (Odyssey) DLC, there are eight different items to collect. To start, there's a 60-minute Double XP Token. After that, there are five Epic-quality items. There's a Survival Tactics Emblem, a Serpentine Watch with a snake eye shape, a Mercier Mini Weapon Charm, and an All-Terrain Calling Card. Two Legendary Weapon Blueprints are also included. The first is the Gold Hawk Blueprint and the second is the Heavy Foliage Blueprint.

The final reward in Call of Duty: Warzone's Combat Pack (Odyssey) is a Legendary Operator Skin for Padmavati Balan. The skin features a wide-brimmed hat, what looks like a Nepalese Gurkha terai hat, and a uniform reminiscent of the Gurkha's uniform from the early 1900s.

Since it's a free DLC pack, some Call of Duty: Warzone players might think that less effort would go into the product. However, it's clear that the Combat Pack (Odyssey) DLC is up to all of Call of Duty: Warzone's standards. Padmavati Balan's Legendary Skin, in particular, is as impressively detailed as it is interesting for its historical context.

As noted, the Call of Duty Warzone Combat Pack (Odyssey) DLC is available now and is available for free (and exclusively) to PlayStation Plus subscribers. It can be acquired through the PlayStation Store, where it'll be listed for $0.00. Once purchased, Call of Duty: Warzone players will have full access to it in-game.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
