The latest trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime is out, and with it comes four new transformations that its titular heroine will be able to utilize. While Princess Peach usually plays a supporting role in Mario’s adventures, Nintendo announced that the monarch of the Mushroom Kingdom would be stepping into the spotlight in her own video game. Princess Peach: Showtime tasks Peach with saving the Sparkle Theater from the Wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch, using a variety of special costumed transformations and assistance from the theater’s guardian, Stella.

Many of Princess Peach: Showtime’s alternate forms have been shown off already, with September’s Nintendo Direct livestream offering first looks at the swashbuckling Swordfighter Peach, mystery-solving Detective Peach, dessert-making Parissiere Peach, and martial arts master Kung Fu Peach. Two more transformations were revealed in a later Princess Peach: Showtime trailer earlier this year, showing players how Ninja Peach will utilize stealth to sneak past enemies and how Cowgirl Peach tosses opponents off the stage with her trusty lasso.

Retailers begin announcing special pre-order bonuses in the lead up to the release of Nintendo's new title, Princess Peach: Showtime.

The new Princess Peach: Showtime trailer reveals four more super-powered costumes. First comes Figure Skater Peach, who gracefully skates along icy passages and takes down enemies with a spin attack. There is also Dashing Thief Peach, a Persona 5-like femme fatale who uses parkour to navigate rooftops and a grappling hook to reach higher levels. The third new form is the musical Mermaid Peach, who guides small fish and subdues foes with the power of song. Finally, there is Mighty Peach, who takes down her opponents with laser blasts and chases airborne enemies with a jetpack.

While some players have been put off by Peach’s face redesign on the game’s box art, it isn’t hard to imagine Nintendo fans looking forward to Princess Peach: Showtime taking the stage on the Nintendo Switch next month.
