Princess Peach: Showtime brought the Mushroom Kingdom's princess out into the spotlight. Peach hadn't had a game of her own since the release of Super Princess Peach back in 2006. Even though in both Peach games, the princess has the ability to use a wide range of powers, the two are extremely different.

Princess Peach: Showtime Review

Princess Peach: Showtime has some standout moments, but many gamers will find it to be too easy and too short for their liking.

According to How Long to Beat, Super Princess Peach should take players around 7 to 9 hours to complete. This might leave some players curious about how much time they'll need with the game before they get to see the credits roll. This guide will tell players everything they need to know about finishing Princess Peach: Showtime, including how many hours it should take to complete the main story, the extra content, and the post-game content.

Princess Peach: Showtime is set inside Sparkle Theater. After arriving at the theater, Grape and the Sour Bunch will take over the plays, terrorize the Theets inside, and trap the Sparklas; Peach and Stella will be tasked with saving the day. To do this, they'll have to participate and complete a total of 30 plays. The courageous duo will also have to fight four Darkle Bosses as well as the Grape herself. Once players have done all of this, they will watch the credits of Princess Peach: Showtime roll, and they will have completed the game's main story.

It should take fans around 7 to 8 hours to beat Princess Peach: Showtime. Younger or less experienced players will need a couple of extra hours, but this isn't a game that's meant to be rushed. Gamers should feel free to explore the stunning backdrops in each play and enjoy the beautifully crafted props as well as the carefully designed dresses and ribbons available in Princess Peach: Showtime.

How Long to 100% Complete Princess Peach: Showtime

Players who enjoy hunting down and gathering every collectible will certainly need more time with the game, especially once they've beaten the game. There is a lot of bonus and post-game content in Princess Peach: Showtime, and gamers will have to get it all done if they want to 100 percent the game.

Plays have between five to 10 Sparkle Gems and a Ribboner NPC that needs to be found. On top of this, gamers must get a gold trophy in each of the five Rehearsal levels, do the post-game boss challenges to earn more Sparkle Gems, and purchase every cosmetic item, including the Sparkle Theater decorations that become available after beating the game.

Unfortunately, if gamers quit a play after gathering a missing Sparkle Gem, they will lose it. Therefore, they must fully redo every play with missing collectibles in order to complete it. Players can check the Plays tab in the Pause menu to see which levels they've 100 percent completed - a trophy badge will appear next to the play's title.

Once players complete the game, the Ninja Sparkla will hide Theets across each of the 30 stages. The lobby and the upper floors will each have three hidden Theets per play and the basement floor plays will each have one Theet. This means that, to 100 percent complete Princess Peach: Showtime, players must redo every single play and find all 70 Hide and Seek Theets.

Replaying the game shouldn't take as long, as fans will already have gathered many of the collectibles and will be familiar with the plays. However, it will add a few hours to their completionist playthrough. Gamers should take between 12 to 15 hours to fully complete Princess Peach: Showtime.
