Table of contents

Along with its main quest, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown features several side-quests that are found throughout the game world. These quests vary greatly in depth, with many requiring the player to explore the entire game world to fully complete. Aside from the story content they provide, many of The Lost Crown's rarest items and resources are tied to these quests, making them well-worth the time it takes to complete them.

'The Lost Warrior' is a great example of these side-quests, as the player can pick up the quest very early in their playthrough, and will have to uncover much of the world to complete it. This quest tasks Sargon with finding eight warriors that were corrupted by the curse that plagues Mount Qaf. In Explore Mode, Sargon will have no indication of where these warriors are located, and must fully explore each region to uncover them. This guide will provide the exact location of all eight warriors, helping players to avoid any unnecessary areas.

Where to Find All Lost Warriors in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

PoP-Lost-Warrior-Nojan

Players will have the chance to start 'The Lost Warriors' very early in The Lost Crown. While making his way out of the Lower City during the 'Lost in Mount Qaf' main-quest, Sargon can encounter Nojan, a soldier from the ranks of General Ardashir, a hero to Sargon and close with his group of Immortals. These soldiers had entered Mount Qaf only minutes before the Immortals, but time had started playing tricks on them. Nojan believes he has been wondering about the area for 30 years, and is dismayed to learn it has only been hours, not years. Nojan asks Sargon to find the other warriors who had entered with him, and to warn General Ardashir about what is happening. This sets the events of 'The Lost Warriors' in motion.

Technically, there is no specific order that Sargon must follow when searching for the eight lost warriors. Given that The Lost Crown is a metroidvania, several of the encounters will not be available until specific abilities have been unlocked. This guide will attempt to include the required abilities to reach each warrior.

What to Expect from the Lost Warriors:

When Sargon encounters a Lost Warrior, a brief battle will ensue due to the corruption of the curse. The actual fights are not quite at the level of a mini-boss fight, as they do not have the full-screen health bar that is typical of those battles. Instead, these enemies are basically enhanced versions of the heavy enemies encountered throughout the game. They are faster, and have slightly more health, but require no special strategy and can be taken down with basic combat moves. Athra Surges can take them out extremely fast. All eight warriors will drop one Xerxes Coin and one Insignia of Persepolis.

Hyrcanian Forest Lost Warrior - Khosrow

PoP-Lost-Warrior-1-Khosrow-Map

Khosrow is found not long after crossing into the Hyrcanian Forest from the Lower City. After the first vine-covered door is cleared by a charged attack, Sargon will come across a large chamber with a steep slope at the bottom. Jump onto the slope and let it drop Sargon into the chamber below. In the lower chamber, head west until another vine-covered door is encountered. Khosrow will be waiting on the other side of the door.

Sargon will only need his base abilities to reach this encounter, meaning players are free to attempt it as soon as they reach the area.

The Depths Lost Warriors - Bijan and Reza

PoP-Lost-Warriors-2-Bijan-Map

Bijan:

Bijan will likely be encountered during the course of a playthrough, as his location is in an area that most players will traverse. If players miss him earlier in the game, they can simply take the main elevator from the Lower City that leads to the depths. He is located just west of the Scrapyard merchant. Finding Bijan does not require any special abilities. Later, players can unlock the Scrapper's Hideout fast-travel using the Shadow of the Simurgh ability, which is located very close to Bijan as well.

Reza:

PoP-Lost-Warriors-3-Reza-Map

The Reza encounter takes place in the Catacombs, which is the eastern portion of the Depths. The area will be available fairly early in the game, but Reza will not be accessible until players unlock the Gravity Wings (double-jump) later in the game.

PoP-Lost-Warriors-3-Path

When exploring the Catacombs, look for a chamber that is depicted with three circular heads on the map. Using double-jump, head to the top of that area and go west to unlock two new chambers. Reza will be in the second chamber, which is further west. Be careful dropping into the chamber, as the bottom is sloped like a funnel. There is a platform set in the middle of the chamber where Reza is waiting.

Pit of Eternal Sands Lost Warrior - Saman

PoP-Lost-Warriors-4-Saman

Saman is located on the Northeastern side of the Pit of Eternal Sands. From the Wak-Wak Tree that will unlock after falling into the Pit, players will head east into the next chamber on the map. Players will not need any more abilities than what is already required to enter the Pit of Eternal Sands.

PoP-Lost-Warriors-4-Path

When heading east through the second chamber, look for this sand plume. Make sure and use it to fall as far south as possible. That is the only way to get to the desired chamber where Saman will be waiting.

Sacred Archives Lost Warrior - Karoosh

PoP-Lost-Warriors-5-Karoosh

Karoosh is found in the southern reaches of the Sacred Archives, in the Prison area. While players can reach the Prison earlier in the game, the only way to open the required cell is to acquire the Holy Scholarship Key from the Jailer.

To defeat the Jailer in The Lost Crown, players will first need to acquire the Clairvoyance ability. With that, head to the Temple of Knowledge in the northern section of the Sacred Archives and fight the Jailer with the ability on. The key will be a reward for defeating it.

Old Royal Road Lost Warrior - Morteza

PoP-Lost-Warrior-6-Morteza-Map

To reach Morteza, players will need access to Dimensional Claw or Gravity-Wings. There are two paths to get by the large building that blocks Sargon's way to the Old Royal Road. At the western edge of the Lower City, there is a path that leads under the building, which requires Sargon to store an explosive object with the Dimensional Claw, then destroy one of the yellow-glowing walls.

The second option, is to use Gravity Wings or the Fabric of Time to reach a swinging post and enter the building higher up. Either path will allow Sargon to access the Old Royal Road.

Tower of Silence Lost Warrior - Pirouz

PoP-Lost-warrior-7-Pirouz-Map

It's best to try and encounter the warrior in the Tower of Silence during the initial trip thorugh the region, as it is nowhere near any sort of fast-travel marker. Players will end up going through the area near the warrior during a late-game mission, and this is the time to get it done.

Players will enter a large room that is marked with falling ice boulders on the map. One of the shafts that the boulders fall from is also a pathway to Pirouz. The location of the pathway is shown on the above map. Players will need to use the Fabric of Time to complete a traversal section that leads to the platform where the fight takes place.

Upper City Lost Warrior - Masoud

PoP-Lost-Warrior-8-Map

Masoud is in a fairly open area in the Upper City, down at the bottom of the chamber that contains the Night Temple fast-travel point. However, Sargon will simply not be able to reach it until he acquires the Fabric of Time late in the game. Once he ahs access to the ability, it will be very simple to get to the point marked on the map.

How to Complete The Lost Warriors Side-Quest

PoP-Lost-Warrior-General-COmplete-Map

Once Sargon has found all eight warriors, the game will update the quest with a new marker not far from where Sargon originally met Nojon. To the west of this location, Sargon will find an iron grate that he had no way of passing for most of the game. Now, he can use the Chakram Teleport feature to get through. Continuing west from this point, he will find two more grates he must teleport through, with the final one being in the floor. This final grate will lead Sargon to General Ardashir, already in a corrupted form. This will be a slightly tougher boss fight than the eight soldiers, but nowhere near the level of challenge that Sargon will have surpassed to get to this point.

Defeating Ardashir will complete the side-quest. Sargon will be awarded another Xerxes Coin, 400 Time Crystals, and one Soma Tree Petal.
