At first glance, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown may seem different from the previous entries in the franchise, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The game pays homage to the Sands of Time trilogy in many ways, one of them being time-related powers.

Despite being a platformer, The Lost Crown exquisitely incorporates time powers into the gameplay. As soon as players set foot on Mount Qaf, they will learn that time flows differently. As players travel through the area, they will unlock six different Time Powers that will enable them to explore new areas and take down strong enemies.

All Time Powers In The Lost Crown

Players will gain a total of six time powers. It is not possible to claim all of them at the same time. Instead, you have to explore and complete different main quests to find the Time Powers in The Lost Crown. Players wanting to learn about all the Time Powers in the game can consult the table below:

Time Power

What It Does

Location

Rush of the Simurgh

  • Enables Sargon to dash in the air forward or backward. While in combat, players can stop themselves from falling after being struck.
  • Can be found during The Abducted Prince Main Quest.

Shadow of the Simurgh

  • Grants Sargon the power to create a mark and teleport back to it. This can be used to get behind big enemies and to store strikes.
  • Can be found while completing The Tiger and The Rat Main Quest.

Clairvoyance

  • Using Clairvoyance, Sargon can see elements from another dimension, such as bells and platforms. It can also be utilized for seeing invisible enemies.
  • Players can find Clairvoyance in the Sacred Archives as a part of the Paths To The Eternal Sand Main Quest.

Dimensional Claw

  • With the Dimensional Claw, Sargon can trap an object or attack.
  • Can be obtained after defeating Kiana in Hyracian Forest.

Gravity Wings

  • The Gravity Wings Time Power allows Sargon to jump while in the air. It can also be used to jump over most of the big enemies in the game.
  • Defeat Azdaha to obtain Gravity Wings.

Fabric of Time

  • The last Time Power that Sargon will find is the Fabric of Time. It allows him to grab onto faraway elements and pull. It can launch Sargon into the air. While fighting airborne enemies, Sargon can use it to grapple them and close the distance.
  • Players will get their hands on the Fabric of Time after defeating Varham.

All the Time Powers serve an important purpose in the game. Without the correct Time Power, certain paths will remain blocked and impossible to explore. Overall, the Time Powers in The Lost Crown are exciting, and they make the combat even more engaging.
