One of the early Side Quests in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is called Ancient Power Unearthed and is given to players by Kaheva, the Blacksmith in The Haven. To start the quest, players will first need to obtain the Bow of Menolias in the Hyrcanian Forest and then head back to The Haven in the Lower City. To the left of the Magi Emporium shop, where you can buy items and upgrade stuff, is a large glowing yellow door. Enter it to find Kaheva's Forge.
Ancient Power Unearthed Side Quest Guide (Ore Location)
Speak to Kaheva and then choose the 'Ancient Power Unearthed' option to start the quest. The blacksmith wants Sargon to head to a different area to find a rare ore and return it to her. The location of the ore will be marked on the map --it's to the west of The Haven in the Lower City.
You'll need to make sure of the Chakram and other abilities to reach the ore.
Once you eventually make it to the room with the Ore, there will be a treasure chest waiting to be opened. Interact with it and a gauntlet will begin. You'll need to survive an onslaught of moving spikes without getting hit once to retrieve the chest's contents. You can check out our video above to learn how to bypass each section of the challenge.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - How Long to Beat
This is about how long it will take to beat Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown's main story, and how long it will take to 100%.
- The first spiked bar will come in hot from the right side of the room. Simply hop over it to avoid it.
- After that, two more spiked bars will come in from the left and right. Hop over at the right time to dodge.
- Next, two more will come in from the right. We ran to the wall on the left and then wall-jumped over the spikes.
- Three more will come in from the left.
- A rotating bar of spikes will come in from the left. Time your jump carefully to nail the dodge.
- One rotating bar will come in while two normal spiked bars enter from both sides.
After avoiding the dangerous structures, the Raw Ore will be yours for the taking. Make your way back to Kaheva to forge a powerful artifact.
Reward for Completing An Ancient Power Unearthed
For completing this Side Quest in The Lost Crown, Kaheva will give you the Shield of Mithra Amulet.
With the Shield of Mithra equipped, a successful parry with LT/L2 will create a small time bubble, slowing enemies within it. This amulet can be switched out at one of the Wak-Wak Trees .
